1 which plan for RCF L18P300ND le Jeu 11 Juil 2013 - 2:11

Hello
i'm new to forum and also to building pa systems, but i have a little experience in wood cutting and good skills.
I just bought 2x RCF L18P300ND . At the moment these have to match with 2x PRX515 JBL for 150-200 persons parties on the beach. In the future i'd like to build mid-high section in passive DIY.
Amplifier is a behringer EP2500 2x1200W
I found WSX martin plan for my RCF speaker but i still have to buy wood so everything can be changed
I will play electronic-80ies-rock
Any skilled suggestion is apreciated.

If you want simple to build: [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien]
If you need a little more bass extension: [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien]

WSX needs 4 units and kick bins, and is more complicated to build..

thanks for suggestion.
I can realise the MPH46 if this give a better sounding sub.
I also will like some suggestion for top, considering that i want to have enough power for 300+ people dancing on the sand. I read good things about sound of ms-201 but i don't think they can be enough for such poupouse. What about a design 15mi100+tw ? Will 2 of these + 2 subs (maybe 4 in the future) make the job? Or it's better to build 4 smaller tops to put at corners of the dancing area?

I know people who makes 300 people indoor with two MS-201 (+ subs) at very reasonable level (wedding), but if you play electro/techno, it will be insufficient

Or it's better to build 4 smaller tops to put at corners of the dancing area?
It can be a very good solution: you reduce effects of reverberation if you are indoor.

Choice of speakers depends the use you wiil make, and the SPL you need.

parties are outdoor on the beach, music is a mix of rock, 80ies, electronic. Now i'm just using a pair of JBL PRX-515 but they are not enough. I have to set volume quite low and cut some bass if i don't want a distorted sound. So now i feel i need more SPL preserving a good quality and sound balance. I looked for 382 plans but i can't find them..

382p is a good choise but ^put a CD10nd in place of DE250. you wll have a very good top with that !
300 people is good with this choise ! Very Happy

ok for 382p with cd10. Fe version is good anyway? A lot cheaper..where i can find enclosure design?

still in time to make any changes except for amplifier ep2500 for bass section already bought and 2x 18P300ND already bought.

My idea is:
no crossover. As i use only mp3, I will install a 8 channel soundcard and let manage crossover via software with VST host

ep2500 for sub
other amplifier for mid (suggestions?)
other amplifier for high (suggestions?)

so full active system. Will it work?

i also saw cd1014 with 1,4" driver. I'd like to make a system that reach his limit at the same time in medium, bass and tweeter while mantaining a sound balance (flat response)

Will this (2x MPH46 + 2x382p) do the job? Or i need to reinfoce the bass section?
