Nexo ls1200 problems

Hello, I'd like to realize the project of the Nexo ls1200 subwoofer, but i have some problems.
I can use only mdf of 1 cm and 1.8 cm.
the project recommends to use 1.2 and 1.6.
Is a problem if i use 1 and 1.8 cms? does it change the sound and the performance of the subwoofer?
And i'd like to know the specifications of the woofer.
Or can i know a compatible woofer for this project?

The first problem for the woofer is I don't know if it got special specifications (OEM loudspeaker) or not. Maybe someone in the forum knows if it's the case or not and answer.

The second problem is we don't have T&S parameters. If you know them, you have to find a woofer with similar spec but if you haven't you have to make simulation

Why do you want to do this design?
You can make another design like MTH-4654 and you will not have to make simulation, the speaker developped by Marc can accept 18" (RCF 18G401) and 21" (18sound but don't remember the ref) drivers

It's another and easier solution

For several reasons, such as the fact that mdf is a lot heavier and fragile than plywood, plywood is often a better choice than mdf. Are you sure that you cannot use plywood ?.

In my humble opinion (which is by the why quite the same that Drikx's) you should choose a design of an awarded enclosure like the MTH-4654 or the MHB-46 or even the MTH-46VS and use the recommended loudspeaker in order to get the best result available.

If you really want to use MDF you'll have to change all dimensions in the design to respect the internal dimensions, those which were calculated and optimized for acoustics reasons.
