Westminster cabinet

I'm in the project of building Tannoy Westminster cabinets for Monitor Golds 15".
I don't have original plans but much info has already been gathered.
My question. How much horn (back loaded) is Westminster? Is it only horn design or a combination with something else?

the Tannoy Westminster is a compound Horn (can be simulated in Horresp), combination of a short front load horn and rear load horn , the length of the rear horn is approximately 3 meters (exponential), with a 300cm2 throat and a 4000cm2 mouth (on the sides of the cabinets). Construction seems complicated, as like the Hartsfield JBL

Thank you for the info. But all our efforts to squeeze and fold 3 m of the horn heve been in vain till now. Maximum we managed only about 2.1m.

I'm told it's Westminster Royal SE. It seems not all is shown here. What is the correct position of panel W ?

I'm not a specialist of the Westminter, but I know there were 5 versions, the Royal Se is the lasted.

The "3 meters horn length" was announced by a french magazine review in the 80's.

Hello, have you simulated WMR's back loaded horn in hornrest? I have Tannoy Monitor Gold 15" ready for the cabinets. Neither am I a specialist, just can't understand where is this 3 m in the horn.

difficult to say the exact lenght of the horn without the cabinet or 3D file.

The cabinet external size of the Royal SE is announced to 1395 x 980 x 560mm. The french magazine announce a size of 1500 x 1110 x 720mm (25mm panels), so possible Tannoy has reduced the size between versions.
