Mid bass 18"

Hi

I Have a couple of B&C 18 RXB woofer:

It is a 3" coil , small Xmax 4,9mm , EPB =113 , 400W Rms , High Efficiency

I want to use them for a mid bass 90-200. I saw ES18BPH or cubokick but 15"

Any suggestion for a box for this Woofer?

Hi,

on this frequency range,
in your place I would simulate it in BR, it is not suitable for complex loads.

BR is bass-reflex
Basically, a load for the back of the driver with resonation chamber and a port.
Did you check if you oculd find your driver in speakersim ? If not you can enter data manually Smile

My dubt is : I need a Mid Bass Box that punch at 120Hz , Is a reflex good for that?

You can build a box with a rectangular port, tuned at 100hz for example.

Hi thanks for response! Rectangular or circular what de difference? is it possible and good to tune a reflex at 100Hz? in this case can I use the dimension of the Fane and work on port to tune it?
