Will the Void Acoustics V18-1000 work in the MHB 46?

The V1000 is ok in the MHB-46.

I don't recommand the BMS 12N620 in the MT-130.

Others drivers working in MT-130:

- B&C 12PE32
- RCF L12P110K
- Beyma 12MI100

Yes already thought that, the N620 is more suited for bassreflex I think.

What about the 18sound mb600?
Allmost as high sensitivity as the 12pe32 (101 db)but higher wattage.

I assume for budget the pd121 can't be beaten, but if we look at other possible (more expensive)candidates which one would be the best?

The 12MB600 can be used, no problem. All these drivers are good, RCF has advantage of the power, then it's between apples and oranges.

It is possible that I design a passive filter for the MT-130, if it's the case, it will be for PD121/BMS4550/HF64.

Oke, I calculated 7 sheets of 244x122 plyboard for 4 mhb 46 with minimum waste.

I also want to build 4x MT-130, how much sheets would I need for that?
I calculated 5 sheets with alot of waste, is this correct?

yes it's that,if you have a lot of waste is normal!
a lot of angle on this box.
i have calculated juste for 1 box:1 sheet and 1 piece in another board with a lot of waste

What would be the best location for the handles on the MHB-46?

I was thinking, on the side panels: 2 at top each side, and one at the botom
hornexit?
Also do I need to use dampeningmaterial in the wooferchamber?

Anyone?

No damping material needed in the woofer chamber...
For the handles, as they are sealed... i think it's ok..!
