Finally decided on building MTH-4654 with RCF 21" neo!

Hi everyone, my name is Roy I live in Tampa,Florida,USA with several sound system we use for playback. We'll be starting soon a new 4 way sound system for large scale crowds up to 2000. I want to build 2 MTH-4654 with the RCF 21" neo initially to try this wonderful plans I actually brought it with me at a recent show in Orlando the 2011 InfoComm convention. I showed the plans to Tom Danley and he said the horn path is right for the 18" and a 21" will really give very good output, so I have a question with regards to the baffle hole is for the 18" woofer is it the same with the 21" RCF or larger? It is not clear in the plans? Maybe someone has some inputs on here? Thanks everyone!

The hole is 51,2 cm for the 21N451.

Hi Marc, thanks for the reply, Tom Danleys new one box wonder shook Demo room left Community Speakers and Right side Meyer Sound demo room at one amp channel incredible at InfoComm! I plan to get the BB wood soon will post some pix if I get to figure out how to do it in this forum hehehe . . .

Hello T-Bone3 , I saw that you wanted to make a 4 way sound system with 2 MTH-4654 with the RCF 21 " neo, That you are going to put over 2 MTH-4654 ?

Posibly 8 total MTH 4654, 2 initially then 6 more before the price change in the next 2 months on the neo RCF's. Will be building 4 HD215 (Faital loaded) with 3 flat panels for kick and posibly reboxed trap shape TSE 111 with my 1" horn f/g. Maybe Turbo 212 kick from plans on here. That is a nice Void system you got there superbuz, they're genius! So is Marc!

Hi Marc, that MKB-230 looks to be a nice kick cab with a Faital 12FH500 and a cheaper driver than the 15". Easy build as well I gonna have to consider it now that neo prices are going up on a weekly basis. Thanks for the recommendation will start drawing the plans full size for reference.

The MKB-230 is a no compromise cab. A 12" will have a better impulse response than a 15. And you can see the comparison curve between HD215 and MKB-230 on the mkb-230 page.

And not regrettably I have that the pictures ,I shall like having void system but I am not rather rich
